The following images are a set of Nerikomi (colored marbled clay) serving bowls, shallow dinner bowls, and shallow dessert/salad bowls. Clay is first hand dyed, then arranged in stacks of varying colors, smushed together into brick forms, then cut in sections and pieced back together to then be rolled out and draped over plaster forms. It is a very labor and time intensive process with lots of variables. Each object and pattern is unique. Commisions available on request; colors specified by client, if desired.
